Old Buisness:

The Pensacola Hawg Hunters annual banquet for the 2003 season will be held at the "Coach and Four", located on Pine Forest Rd. across from
Five Flags Speedway.
The cost will be about $13.95 ea.
This includes tax and gratuity.
At the next meeting, Pete will take a head count from club so that he can have the banquet room set up accordingly. The date of the banquet is scheduled for Jan 31st at 7 P.M., so make your plans now.
The banquets are always a lot of fun so don't miss it.

New Buisness:

By a unanimous vote Wally Cassiano was inducted into the Pensacola
Hawg Hunters Lifetime Membership. Congratulations Wally.
Frank Kelly received an apron/bib from the club for weigh-in purposes. This is to prevent Frank from looking like he took a shower with his cloths on after a weigh-in.
Take care of it Frank.
That's about it from the new business section.

December Tournament:

Tensaw River out of Cliff's landing was the site of this months tournament. Twenty Hawgs were out early trying not to be slowed by mother nature.
This by far was the coldest morning of the 2004 season, according to our local weather forecast.
Ice was a problem for the first hour or so, trying to keep it out of the rod eyes.
The main river and the creeks up stream were the starting points of choice and it paid off for some.

December Tournament Cont:

Crank baits and plastics were used by most. By noon, I think everyone's hands and toes had thawed out, but the bite had slowed a lot by then. That's when the tide had turned and on its way in. At weigh-in tim it turned out to be a tough day overall.
Only two limits were brought to the scales, and seven out of 20 came to the scales with no bag in hand.

Brian and Terry took the boat bet with a total of 16.65 lbs.

Brian also took first with 5 fish weighing 11.55, and Terry took third with 3 fish weighing 5.10.

Rich Cornelius took second with 5 fish weighing 7.60 lbs. Walter McCartney finished fourth with 4 fish at 4.60 lbs.
Good job guys.
