We'll have a nice meal (ordering from the menu) and a short program for all to enjoy. Hope to see you there. (If you were not at the meeting and plan to be there, please let me know as it will help as we plan everything.)

November Tournament:

November found the Hawg Hunters returning to the Escambia River out of Smith's Landing. We were scheduled to launch from the Swamphouse Landing but concerns about the drop off at the end of the ramp warranted the change. At blast off 16 members went in search of the elusive black bass.
Morning temperatures in the upper forties barely reached into the upper sixties by mid-day. Although extremely windy, the day was one of those that made putting up with the heat not so bad after all. Not only did the extreme wind affect the fisherman it seemed to affect the fish as well.
At weigh in fourteen of the sixteen fishermen had fish but not too many.
At the weigh in there were only two limits. In total only 38 fish were brought to the scales for a total of 39.17 pounds.

1st Place
Bill Myrick

Bill Myrick led the pack with five fish
at 5.81 lbs. Good fishing Billy on such
a bad day.

2nd Place
Jere Jaillite

Jere Jaillite took 2nd place with four nice fish weighing in at 4.85 lbs.

3rd Place
Dave Bock

Third place was claimed by Dave Bock with five fish and 4.15 lbs.

4th Place
Dave Dyess

Dave Dyess slam the door on fourth place with four fish and 3.97 lbs.

Big Fish
Mack Cramer

Mack Cramer couldn't stand not being in the winners circle so he done the next best thing!!
He won the Big Fish Pot.
Way ta go Mack.

Next month the Hawg Hunters travel to the Tensaw River Delta for our second tournament of the new year.
This tournament will be one week earlier than the usual third weekend tournaments, everyone needs to be aware of the change and make plans now to attend.
