Message From The President:

I know that it may sound early, but please start thinking about nominations for a position on the E-board for 2011. Everything is running very smoothly right now and we need fresh meat, I mean new volunteers. Also, start thinking about any changes you want to see next year. Your motions are due in writing prior to the August meeting.

Now for something you can really use.
I know some of you like building your own skirts for Spinnerbaits, Jigs, & Buzzbaits. Here's an easy way to make them.
1st - Dismantle an old BallPoint pen and discard all but the bottom end. The kind of pen that the plastic tapers to a point. 2nd - Push a piece of soft rubber tubing over the point of the pen and work it down toward the fat/open end of the pen. 3rd - You should have assembled the colors and length of the skirt that you want. Simply stick the end of the skirt into the open end of the pen and slide the rubber keeper off of the pen and over it. Wala. A new rubber skirt. Now you can make any color or size skirt you want.

Till the next time,
Dave
