Minutes of the Meeting:

The February meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was brought to order at
7:00 P.M. February 16, 2011
at Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Dave Dyess presided over the meeting. There were 17 members and
2 guest present.
Old Business:

Minutes of the January meeting were read and accepted. The Treasurer's report was given and accepted.Boo Ray pot is up to $704.00.The 50/50 was won by Frank Kelly. Dave Dyess asked if anyone had ideas about new member recruitment.

New Business:

The March tournament will include a fish fry on Saturday night at the Lake Seminole Inn. Butch Gunnells is having trouble with his esophagus. We wish him the best in a speedy recovery. January Tournament results were given out and the draw for partners for the February tournament was done. Frank Kelly gave information about the launch site for Saturday morning. Caravan will leave Food World on Pine Forrest Road. The Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.

February Tournament:

The February tournament was held on the Fish River launching at the highway 98 bridge. This is our fouth tournament this year. Seventeen Hawg Hunter's and one guest (Andy Gunn) fished the Tournament.


1st Place
Tony Boyett
Tony brought in a limit of five nice fish. His total weight was 10.04 lbs. Tony almost had the lunker of the day with a 30.7 pounder. He was only .98 pounds behind the fish Dave Bock had for the tournament.

February Tournament:


2nd Place
Dave Bock
Dave also had a nice stringer of five fish for a total weight of 9.41 pounds.
Dave really came on strong this tournament and moved himself up to the number two spot for the year.
His tournament big fish was 4.05 pounds and is the new big fish of the year so far this year.


3rd Place
Mack Cramer
Mack took the third place spot this month with a nice bag of five fish. His total weight was 7.94.This will bring Buddy up to the first place spot for the year. Congratulations Mack.


4th Place
John Buck
John brought in 5 beautiful fish for a total weight was 7.62. This will move John up considerably in the yearly standings also. The total weight of the fish for tournament was 98.03 lbs. There were a total of 69 fish weighed in for the day.The average weight was 1.42 pounds. Everyone that fished had fish to weigh in and nobody found themselves in the "ALSO FISHED" category . All of the 18 club members present were wearing their hats and shirts at the Saturday afternoon weigh-In except three. We did not have any dead fish for the entire tournament!! No dead fish so far this tournament year. Great job guys let's try to keep it up.
