Minutes of the Meeting:

The May meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was brought to order at
7:00 P.M. May 18, 2011 at
Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Dave Dyess presided over the meeting. There were 17 members and 1 guest present.
Old Business:

Vote was taken on new prospective member C.J. Scott.. Welcome to the club C.J. Minutes of the April meeting were read and accepted. The Treasurer's report was given and accepted. The 50/50 was won again this month by Jere Jaillite.
$31 to Jere and $31 to special fund.

New Business:

New phone and email lists were given out by Jere Jaillite. This is the most recently updated information for the club members. Thanks Jere for doing this for the club!! April Tournament results were given out and the draw for partners for the May tournament was done.
Frank Kelly gave information about the caravan meeting site. Caravan will leave Wal-Mart on Highway 29 at 7:15 a.m. Friday morning.The Meeting was adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
May Tournament:

 The May tournament was held on Alabama River near Camden Alabama. This is our seventh tournament this year. Fifteen Hawg Hunter's fished the Tournament with 8 boats in the line-up.

John brought in a limit of five nice fish.
His total weight for day was 9.41 lbs.
John this should bring you up from the fifth place spot into the fourth place spot tied with Dave Bock.
Congratulations John!!!.

May Tournament:


2nd Place
Don Jahnke
Don also had a nice stringer of five fish for the day. Don's total weight for the day was 8.52 pounds. Way to go Don!!! The way I see it this will move you up from 10th place up to 9th place for the year.


3rd Place
Jeff Weaver
Jeff took the third place spot this month with a nice bag of five fish His total weight was 8.41 pounds. Jeff was the club member with the largest fish at the weigh in (3.54 lbs.) Congratulations Jeff!!!
Looks like this will move you from second place back up to the first place spot..


4th Place
Steve Meadows
Dave brought in 4 beautiful fish Saturday for a total weight of 7.86 lbs. All quality fish!!!! Congratulations Dave this should keep you in the fourth place spot with John for the year to date standings!!!!
The total weight of the fish for tournament was 88.80 lbs. There were a total of 60 fish weighed in for the day. The average weight was 1.48 pounds for all the fish weighed in. Only one club member in the "Also Fished" category this month.
All of the 15 club members present were wearing their club hats and shirts at the Saturday afternoon weigh-In. We have not had any dead fish for the entire year so far UNTIL.This month we had 13 dead fish.
