Minutes of the Meeting:

The October meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was brought to order at 7:00 P.M. October 19, 2011 at
Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Dave Dyess presided over the meeting. There were 25 members present.

Old Business:

The yard sale on October 8 at Buck and Bass Sporting Goods Store was a big success. $126 was raised and went into the fish off pot.  Thanks Bill Myrick for heading this up.  Minutes of the September meeting were read and accepted. The Treasurer's report was given and accepted. Boo-Ray Pot is up to $226 for a 5 pounder or larger bass caught during a tournament. The 50/50 was won this month by Dave Dyess. $30 to Dave and $31 to the special fund.  Rule change proposals were clarified and voted on.  Only one proposal passed this time.  John Buck’s proposal was to move the 6 fish rule from the SOP to the Tournament rules. An angler must cull after his sixth fish before continuing to fish. Not doing this will disqualify him in the tournament. A count was taken of the number of people who plan to be at the cookout at the October tournament.

New E Board was elected by acclamation:

President…..Marc Churchwell

Secretary…..Jeff Weaver

Treasurer…..Buddy Yates

Tour. Dir…….Don Jahnke

Asst. Tour. Dir……Bill Myrick

New Business:

Tournament nomination sheets for the upcoming tournament year are due tonight.  The New E Board will be meeting to set up the tournament schedule for next year.   If you have suggestions for the E board to consider write them down and turn in the form.  Boo Ray Dues are due next month. $24  to Bill Myrick. Annual dues of $40 are due prior to the November meeting next month.  Failure to pay your dues on time will eliminate you from membership and you will have to rejoin and be voted on again.

Motion was made and seconded that we have a morning prayer prior to blast off at each tournament.  Motion passed unanimously.

September tournament results were given out and the draw was done for partners for the October Tournament an Fish Off.

The Meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
