Minutes of the Meeting:

The February meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was brought to order at
7:00 P.M. February 15, 2012.
at Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Buddy Yates presided over the meeting. There were 24 members and 2 guest present. Welcome Chris Myers and
Tom LaBelle.

Old Business:

Reading of minutes of the January meeting accepted. The Treasurer's report was given and accepted. Boo-Ray Pot is up to $418 for a 5 pounder or larger bass caught during a tournament. If you need an updated cell phone list you can get one from Jeff at the next meeting.

New Business:

Carlito Silvania was voted in as a new member. Welcome Carlito!!!

Discussion was held regarding the required permit for tournaments held on Lake Seminole. There is a $50 fee if launch site is a state landing. A permit is still required for tournaments from a private landing but is not a fee. Buddy Yates reported that it has been taken care of for the March Tournament.
January tournament results were given out and the draw was done for partners for the February Tournament.
The 50/50 drawing was won by Dan Nash. $41 to Dan and $41 to the club.
The Meeting was adjourned at 8:29 p.m.

February Tournament:

The February tournament was held on Fish River at the Highway 98 Landing near Fairhope Alabama.
Eleven boats and 22 anglers were in the launch. This is our fourth tournament of the new year. Everyone had a partner this time.

1st Place
Mack Cramer
Mack brought in one of the four limits of the day with a total weight of 13.86 lbs.
Mack also brought in the lunker of the day at 6.18 pounds. Mack also won the Boo-Ray Pot this time for having a fish over 5 pounds in a tournament. Mack will also have big fish of the year so far.
Congratulations Mack.

2nd Place
John Buck
John brought in a nice limit also. This is his second place win for two months in a row. His total weight for the day was 8.40. pounds. Congratulations John you should be in the number three spot for the year to date!!

3rd Place
Buddy Yates
Buddy took the third place spot this month with another of the four limits for the tournament with a stringer of five fish.
The weight for his 5 fish was 7.59.
Looks like you are now in the top six for the year to date. Congratulations BUDDY!!!


4th Place
Lee Brannon
Lee had a nice bag of fish also. His four fish weighed in at 5.85 pounds.
Congratulations Lee!!
Lee I think this will put you in the number five spot for the year so far.
The total weight of the fish for tournament was 77.12 lbs. There were 51 fish weighed in for the day. The average weight was 1.51 pounds for all the fish weighed in.
Only one club member was in the
"Also Fished"
category this month. All of the 20 club members at the weigh in were wearing their club hats and shirts. This month we had ZERO dead fish. Let's keeps the number of dead fish as low as possible this year. This year it has only been 2.
Last year the total number of dead fish was 25.
