Minutes of the Meeting:

The Jaunary meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was brought to order at 7:00 P.M. January 18, 2012
at
Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Buddy Yates presided over the meeting. There were 20 members and 4 guest present. Welcome Carlito Silvania,
Tom LaBelle, Ryan Cole and Pro fisherman Tony Bigot.

Old Business:

Motion was made and seconded that we dispense with the reading of minutes of the December meeting. Motion passed. The Treasurer's report was given and accepted. Boo-Ray Pot is up to $380 for a 5 pounder or larger bass caught during a tournament. Tony Bigot from Ft. Walton Beach talked to the membership about his sponsors and showed a lot of his favorite baits. Thanks to John Buck for setting up this visit. Jeff passed out newly updated cell phone lists to anyone who did not get one. If you did not get one see Jeff at the next meeting.

New Business:

Discussion was held regarding the required permit for tournaments held on Lake Seminole. There is a $50 fee if launch site is a state landing. A permit is still required for tournaments from a private landing but is not a fee.
December tournament results were given out and the draw was done for partners for the January Tournament.
The 50/50 drawing was won by Tom LaBelle. Mack is inviting everyone to his house for a Super Bowl Party. Let him know if you plan to attend.
The Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.

January Tournament:

The January tournament was held on the Mobile River at the Steele Creek Landing near Satauma Alabama.
Eleven boats and 21 anglers were in the launch out of Steele Creek. This is our third tournament of the new year. Everyone had a partner this time except Jim Bailey who was the only solo boater.
