Minutes of the Meeting:

The July meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was brought to order at
7:00 P.M. July 18 16, 2012.
at Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Marc Churchwell presided over the meeting. There were 24 members and no guest present.

Old Business:

Minutes from the June meeting were read and approved. The Treasurer's report was given and accepted. Boo Ray up to $104 for a 5+ pound fish caught during a tournament.

New Business:

50/50 drawing was done and Buddy Yates was the winner. $37 goes to Buddy and $37 goes into the special fund.

CJ Scott will be leaving for St. Louis in August. This month's tournament will be his last one with us. CJ is in the Air Force and is being reassigned. CJ it has been great having you in the club. We hate to see you have to go but duty calls.

Bill Myrick gave a report on Alabama Fishing statistics as published in an annual information periodical form the Alabama Fisheries Division.

Proposals for rule changes are due by the end of the meeting in August. They will be discussed in September and voted on in October. If you have any to submit get them in to an e-board member.

June tournament results were given out and the draw was done for partners for the July Tournament.

July Tournament:

The July tournament was held on the Blackwater River in Milton Fl. Launch site this time was Carpenter's Park. 11 boats and twenty two member anglers were in the tournament. This is our ninth tournament of this year. We only have three more tournaments in this tournament year. Everyone had a partner this time.
No solo boaters this month.

Kevin Simmons
Kevin brought in the other nice limit of five fish. Tony and Kevin were the only two that brought in a limit. Kevin had fourth place last month and second place this month. Kevin's total weight was 4.58 pounds. This should bring you up from 16^th to the 12^th place spot for the overall standings. Congratulations Kevin !!!.

3rd Place
Mack Cramer
Mack took the third place spot this month with another nice bag of four fish. Mack was one of the four in the money and the only angler with three fish. Everyone below Mack (except Bill Myrick and Thom LaBelle) only had one or two fish.
The weight for his 4 fish was 4.39 pounds. This should keep you in the number two spot for the year. Congratulations Mack!!

Bill Myrick
Bill only had three fish but they were enough to put him in the fourth place spot. His four fish for the tournament weighed in at 3.66 pounds. Bill Looks like you are securely in the top ten for the year so far.
Congratulations Bill!

Tournament Results:

The total weight for all anglers in the tournament was 44.26 pounds. There were 41 fish weighed in for the one day tournament.
The average weight was 1.07 pounds for all the fish weighed in.
This month we did not have any dead fish. Last month we only had one dead fish. That's a lot better than last May when we had five dead fish. Let's try to keep this number as low as possible this year. Before this tournament we only had 10 dead fish for the whole year so far. We still only have 11 dead fish so far. Last year the total number of dead fish was 25.

The golf ball drawing was not won this month.
