Minutes of the Meeting:
The September meeting of the Pensacola Hawg Hunters was
brought to order at
7:00 P.M. September 19, 2012
at Founaris Brothers Restaurant.
Marc Churchwell presided over the meeting. There were 26 members and no guest
present.
Old Business:
Minutes from the August meeting were not
read . The Treasurer's report was given and accepted.
New Business:
50/50 drawing was done and Thom LaBelle
was the winner again for the third time this year. ½ goes to Thom and ½ goes into
the special fund.
Nominees for next years E Board are now
being accepted. New officers will be vote on in October.
Proposals for changes to the tournament
rules and Constitution were discussed. They will be clarified and voted on
without discussion at next months meeting.
All Alabama fishing licenses expired at
the end of August. You will need a new Alabama license when we fish at Lay
Lake. There is a link on the bass club home page to buy a new license.
August tournament results were given
out and the draw was done for partners for the September Tournament.

The Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
September Tournament:
The
September tournament was held on the Alabama River near Autaugaville Alabama. The
club members stayed at the Jamison Inn in Prattville and made the 17 mile drive
each day to the Swift Creek Landing Launch site. 9 boats and 18 member anglers
were in the tournament. This is our eleventh and nest to the last tournament of
this year. We only have The October tournament/Fish Off left this tournament
year. Everyone had a partner this time.
No solo boaters.
1st Place
Tony Boyette
Tony was one of the two members who caught a limit on Saturday .Tony
took the first place spot on Saturday and the fourth place spot on
Sunday. He ended up in first place with a two day bag
of nine fish. His total weight was 15.09
pounds.

September Tournament:
2nd Place
Jere Jaillite
Jere brought in four nice fish on Saturday and five nice fish on
Sunday for a bag of nine fish weighing in at 10.61 pounds. Jere and two other anglers were the only anglers (Glenn
Kittrell his partner) to bring in a limit.
There were only three limits caught in this tournament. Jere, this should bring you up to the fifth
place in the overall standings. Congratulations Jere !!!.
3rd Place
Buddy Yates
Buddy THE FLUKEMAN Yates took the third place spot this month with another
nice bag of five fish for the weekend. Buddy was first place last month at
Tensaw and third place this month. Buddy
you should be in the third place spot for the year to date standings.
The weight for his 5 fish was 8.90 pounds. This should secure you in the
number three spot for the year with a nice lead over the fourth place angler.

4th Place
Lee Brannon
Lee had five nice fish for the weekend. His four fish on Saturday put him in the fourth
place spot and with one on Sunday he was able to stay there. His five fish for
the tournament weighed in at 8.74 pounds.Lee you are still in the top six

Tournament Results:
The total weight for all anglers in the tournament was 58.73
pounds. There were 40 fish weighed in for the first day and 23 for the second
day. The fishing was tough for both days
but day two was even tougher. On Sunday we had 16 anglers who fished but only
nine brought in fish to be weighed.
