A reminder was given that the new tournament rules voted on in October go into effect starting with the November tournament.  They can be found on the club web page.

Kudo's went to Jim Bailey and Dave Bock for their work last year on the tedious task of updating the web page after each tournament.

Booray Pot currently has 20 members participating...see Bill Myrick for details.

New Tournament schedule voted and approved by the new e-board was handed out.  Also updated on the 2013 web page.

The President ushered in a new era of Safety by reminding the Club that as we age it becomes more challenging to get in and out of the boats at the docks in a safe manner.

 Items discussed were:

Boat Etiquette - Attempt to use Parallel parking at the dock for safe entry/exit when picking up or dropping off your partner.  There were 2 incidents in the previous year that could of turned out horribly bad.

Ramp Etiquette - Try to use the Parking Brake on the tow vehicle.  (My partner remembered this and ended up popping the Hood while trying to release the brake.  Good thing we noticed it before driving down the road.)
- Roll the windows down for better communication.
- Turn off the head lights while backing down the ramp.

A reminder that Boaters Insurance papers need to be turned into the Assistant Tournament Director prior to the use of your boat in a tournament.

October Fish Off tournament results were given out and the draw was done for partners for the November Tournament at Tensaw River.

The Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.

November Tournament:

The November Tournament was held at Tensaw River at the reopened Live Oak Landing.  We met at Food World where, believe it or not Jim Bailey was not the last person to show up. There were 10 boats with 20 members fishing our first tournament of the year.  Everyone was hoping to maintain their current 1st place position by the time weigh-in was concluded.  Air temp was 43 degrees with clear skies.

1st Place
Bill Myrick
Bill was the only one to succeed in maintaining his 1st place position at the end of the day.  Good Job Bill!  His limit of  5 fish weighed 6.49 pounds.  Proving that you can win a tournament out of the back of someone else’s boat.  And we all know whose boat that was.
Congratulations Bill !!!!

2nd Place
Mack Cramer
Mack brought in a nice limit of 5 fish weighing 6.32 pounds.  Missing first place by just .17 pounds.  Mack and his partner Bill were the only boat to have 100% full live wells.  10 out of 10 posibble fish.

Congratulations Mack!!!.

3rd Place
Jeff Weaver

Third place went to Jeff Weaver with a limit of 5 fish weighing just .2 pounds behind second place totaling 6.12 pounds.  We better watch out...because this is just where Jeff started last year.

Congratulations Jeff!!!

4th Place
Jere Jaillite
Jere also caught a limit of fish to round out the top 4 paid places.  His limit weighed 5.8 pounds.  Seems like this tournament you had to catch a limit to get paid!

Congratulations Jere!!

Tournament Results:

We had a total of 19 fishermen fishing the tournament with 15 people catching fish.  Big fish honors went to Buddy Yates with a 2.97 pound lunker.   We had 4 people catching limits to take away all the money slots.  A total of 42 fish were caught totaling 54.02 pounds for an average of 1.28 pounds per fish.  Club average was 2.2 fish per person.
