Tournament Rule 3.

3. Normally there will be one monthly club tournament. The Tournament Director will have the authority to reschedule or delay the tournament due to emergencies, severe weather, etc. The future of the rescheduled tournament will be decided at a special club meeting or the next regularly scheduled meeting.

a. Summer season tournaments shall have a weigh in time of 2:00p.m. for the months of June, July and August. All two day tournaments will have a weigh in at 1:00p.m. on the second day.

Proposed 2016 Change:

3. Normally there will be one tournament each month with the exception of April and May which will have two tournaments in these months (July and August will no longer have tournaments).  The additional April and May tournaments will have weighin times from Safe Daylight to 4 p.m. and will be held on the first Saturday of these months.  Club tournaments for April and May will be held on the first and third Saturdays of these months.

a. The summer season tournament for June will have a weigh in time of 1:00 p.m.  All two day tournaments will have a weigh in at 1:00 p.m. on the second day.

Reasons for proposed change:

    1.  This change will eliminate club tournaments during the two worse months of the summer and provide for opportunities to fish a second tournament with more favorable weather and fishing conditions.

    2. The June tournemant will remain the same except the time of the weigh in will be 1:00 p.m. to be the same as the second day of an out of town tournament.

    3.  The drawings for partners will be held in March for the additional April tournament and April for the additional May tournament.

    4.  These changes will eliminate the possibility of law suits and financial responsibility by all members in the event of injury or death due to heat related problems during the months with estimated heat index numbers of 100 plus temperatures.
