Tournament Rules Change Proposal for 2018

Rule 6

  6. In the event an open seat exists on a tournament boat and a member in good standing finds he can fish after the regular meeting, he can do so only as a nonboater and in the one seat available. Once this seat is filled by the Tournament Director the tournament will be closed to all.   

 

Proposed 2018 Change:

6. In the event an open seat exists on a tournament boat and a member in good standing finds he can fish after the regular meeting, but before 9:00 pm Thursday, he can do so only as a nonboater and in the one seat available. Once this seat is filled by the Tournament Director the tournament will be closed to all.

Reasons for proposed change:

We allow partners to withdraw from the tournament by 9:00 pm Thursday, we should have a deadline for people wanting to fish also.
