SOP Change Proposal

SOP Addition to expire at End of 2023 Season.

The three “SHORT DAY” tournaments ( June, July, August) will be fished in a team format as described below.

Partners will fish as a team and will weigh in no more than 5 fish per boat. If a boat finished first place the fishermen will each receive points for first place, etc.. Any money won will be split between them.

Those who choose to fish solo after non boaters have been paired as per normal.

Rationale

It is easier to keep 5 fish alive in the hot weather. It will encourage more partners. It encourages a safer situation in the heat with two people in the boat. This also eliminates the individual competitive factor in the boat as both fishermen are working together for the best 5 fish they can catch as a team.
